Sheet is one of those products where the finish matters as much as the steel underneath. We carry plate, hot rolled sheets, zincanneal, zincalume, galvabond, checker plate, cold rolled and corten — cut to size at the Burleigh Heads yard.
Thicknesses run from light 0.55mm sheet right up to 12mm structural plate. Standard sheet size is 2400 × 1200 for most lines, with larger plate sizes on request.
Send a cut list or a sketch and we'll guillotine, plasma cut or fold to suit — sheet work is bread-and-butter for the fab shop.

Finishes
How we finish it.
Pick the finish to match the job. Black plate and hot rolled sheet for paint or coating. Galvabond, zincalume and zincanneal for outdoor, coastal and pre-treated surfaces. Cold rolled for tighter tolerances and a cleaner mill surface. Checker plate in mild steel and galvanised for non-slip floors and treads. Corten for architectural weathered-steel work.

FAQ
Common questions on Sheet.
- What sheet finishes do you stock?
- Plate, hot rolled sheets, zincanneal, zincalume, galvabond, checker plate, cold rolled and corten. We don't stock painted sheet.
- What's the difference between galvabond and zincalume sheet?
- Galvabond is a zinc coating to AS 1397. Zincalume (zinc-aluminium) is a different alloy coating — better long-term corrosion resistance. Both come off the same line.
- Can you guillotine and fold sheet?
- Yes — guillotine cuts and press-brake folds are standard fab shop work. Send dimensions and a sketch of the bends and we'll quote.
- Do you stock checkerplate in both mild steel and galv?
- Yes — both. Mild steel checker for trailer and ute floors that get painted or left raw, galvanised checker where it'll see weather or wet feet.
- Do you stock corten (weathering steel)?
- Yes — corten sheet and plate for architectural and landscape work where you want the weathered rust finish.
- Do you deliver sheet steel across the Gold Coast?
- Yes — full sheet and plate delivery across the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Northern NSW on the tray or crane truck.
- What's the biggest plate you can supply?
- Standard sheet is 2400 × 1200. Larger 3000 × 1500 plate in the heavier gauges is available on order — tell us the size and we'll quote.
- Can you guillotine and fold sheet to my drawing?
- Yes — guillotine, plasma cut and press-brake folding are standard fab shop services. Send a sketch with bend lines and dimensions.
- Do you stock corten (weathering steel)?
- Yes — corten sheet and plate for architectural cladding, planters and landscape work. Send the size and quantity and we'll quote.
