Round bar is solid hot-rolled mild steel rod to AS/NZS 3679.1, used for pins, shafts, pickets and machining stock across the Gold Coast.

Round bar is the go-to for anything that needs to be turned, bored, threaded or used as a pin. Hot-rolled solid mild steel — straight enough to use as-is, or machinable when the job calls for it.
Common uses around the Gold Coast: balustrade pickets, gate slide-bolts, pivot pins on trailers, anchor points, dowels for repair welding, plus a lot of art and architectural ironwork.
Stocked in 6.0m lengths from 10mm pickets up to 100mm hefty axle stock. Reo bar (Rio bar) — N-grade deformed bar for concrete reinforcement — is also stocked here; ask us for sizes.
