Angle is the bracket-maker's best friend. Two flat legs at 90° gives you something to fix to on both sides — perfect for shelving, edges, corner protectors, light frames and a thousand other little jobs.
We stock equal angle (both legs the same width) in all the popular sizes, plus the common unequal angles for when one leg needs to be deeper than the other. All hot-rolled mild steel, Grade 300, ready to drill, weld or bolt.
Off-cuts of angle turn up in the off-cut bin all the time — worth a dig if you only need a short length.

How we finish it.
Standard supply is black hot-rolled. Hot-dip galv is arranged on request for outdoor jobs. For inside work, a coat of primer over black does the trick.

Common questions on Angle.
- What grade is your angle iron?
- Grade 300 mild steel to AS/NZS 3679.1 — the standard hot-rolled structural grade. Weldable, drillable, paints up fine.
- What's the difference between equal and unequal angle?
- Equal angle has both legs the same width (e.g. 50×50). Unequal angle has different leg lengths (e.g. 75×50). Use unequal when one side needs more depth — common for lintels and shelf supports.
- Can you galvanise angle?
- Yes — we send fabricated angle work out for hot-dip galv. Plan the holes and welds first so you're not re-drilling after the dip.
- Do you sell off-cuts of angle?
- Always. The off-cut bin at the yard is full of short lengths — bargain prices, cash and carry.
- Do you deliver steel angle Gold Coast wide?
- Yes — Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Northern NSW delivery on the crane truck or standard tray, plus counter pickup from Burleigh Heads.
- What's the longest angle you can supply?
- Standard lengths are 6.0m and 9.0m. Cut-to-length is standard service — send a cut list and we'll have it ready.
- Can you fabricate brackets from angle?
- Yes — drilling, coping, welding and short-run bracket work is bread-and-butter for the fab shop. Send a sketch with hole positions.
- How much does steel angle cost?
- Price depends on leg size, thickness and length. Send the spec and we'll quote same day.
